Supporting our teachers

In October 2023, Council joined the Eastern Alliance for Sustainable Learning (EASL), an alliance of seven councils in the Eastern Region. EASL provides services, support and resources to help schools and kinders embed environmental sustainability into their curriculum, facilities and policies.

Through EASL, Council delivers:

  • regular educator professional development sessions
  • an annual teacher conference
  • the Victorian Government ResourceSmart Schools program
  • a range of other activities and services.
