The plan to increase tree canopy and biodiversity plantings at the Freeway Golf Course is complete, and we have begun implementation. A mix of 104 indigenous trees and 4500 native plants and shrubs have been planted across the course to transform spaces around tees and greens into environmental zones that encourage wildlife.

An educational garden out the front of the proshop has also been completed.
A forest mulcher has regenerated an area that had lots of tree debris, overgrown long grass and black berry. The outcome has been opening up the area so that golfers can walk down over a fine mulch to the once hidden billabong
Approximately 500 plants and shrubs are still be to be planted.
