Boroondara's New Home Energy Audit Program

Description

Council has recently commenced a Home Energy Audit program with Ephe, that is subsidised for Boroondara residents. It includes a Scorecard Assessment of your home undertaken by a qualified energy assessor. The program is aimed at all residents, including home owners, renters, in single/multi dwelling as well as apartment living.

Each Boroondara household is eligible for one Council discounted assessment. The Assessment is valued at $452. After state government discounts and Council subsidies have been applied, the price is $88 for eligible concession card holders, and $176 for non eligible concession card holders.

Although it is still in the trial stage, the program has been successful and will continue through to 2025.
