Description

Council collaborated with a number of other councils to attempt to identify providers to develop and deliver an energy efficiency information service for the community. Unfortunately this process didn't identify a suitable option.

Council is, however, running drop-in sessions to help support our community to reduce emissions and save on energy bills. Residents wanting to know more about the resources we offer to help the community go all electric at home can come along for a chat with our sustainability officers.

Upcoming session:

When: Tuesday 18 June, 1:00pm - 4:00pm

Where: Ford Williams Room, Greythorn Community Hub

Residents and businesses can also get up-to-date and reliable advice about solar power from our involvement in Solar Savers, a local government initiative helping households and businesses to install quality and affordable rooftop solar.

Council also continues to provide a comprehensive Living for our Future sustainability workshop program with a range of topics. Topics are based on community feedback and address both current and emerging sustainability issues. Examples of new workshop topics meeting these needs include e-bikes for beginners and induction cooking. To get updates about sustainability workshops, events, programs, services, and resources, sign up using our Living for our Future email form.
