Description
Naturestrips account for a surprising amount of public land within Boroondara, and if planted with indigenous grasses and ground covers they can provide valuable habitat for native birds, lizards and insects. We are currently reviewing our Naturestrip guidelines, to further facilitate use of these spaces to enhance biodiversity.
We do already have naturestrip guidelines that allow residents to renovate their naturestrip to help support biodiversity after obtaining a permit. If you are interested in transforming your naturestrip please visit Planting on your nature strip.
