Tracking system up and running

The operations team have installed a tracking system in the hard waste collection vehicles to which enables Council to track materials collected and helps target materials for recovery otherwise destined for landfill.

We are investigating options to amend the hard waste website booking process and identifying other disposal opportunities for Council’s website such as mulching of treated timbers and furniture.
